Internship Program

Scattered Studios now offers internship programs to young and beginning artists.

The internship is an online course will last about 6 months. (Or as quickly or slowly as the internee will take). At the end there will be a overall evaluation, and certificate of completion. The goal of this internship is to train you as if you  would be working for this studio. So by the end of this program, you should be ready and trained to be ready to work as a freelance comic book artist for yourself, a publisher, or for this Studio.

This is a free program and all you have to do to begin is inquire about it and be ready to do some hard work. This is a serious program and will reveal to both you and the studio if being a freelance artist is what you truely want to do.

**Requires a Facebook Account to attend each session. Please email to inquire about the next session.

    Hello,

My name is Raven. I am a high school junior and i am interested in your internship program. I found Scattered Comics Studios to be a possible learning opportunity to help me develop the skills I want as far as being a comic book artist. I have a series in the making that I’ve been working on since I was 13 and I am currently learning graphic design (self-taught). I am already sort of a freelance worker as I take requests from people on an art community app (Sketch by Sony) and most of my art work is there from the start of my digital art journey.

Even if I don’t get the internship opportunity it would be nice to have a mentor to help me build on my skills and guide me through my dream career. It would also be nice to finally have something I can be dedicated to without being pressured into it.

I would appreciate being considered especially due to the fact that I am currently 16 and I can’t really find any other open opportunities such as an internship in the field I specialize in because of the fact that I am “too young.” If you want to see my recent works (both pencil and digital) please feel free to let me know via email. I hope I can be of help to you and I also have a few lingering questions as well.

    Sincerely,

    Raven Ferrell
    Student

  14. Jahron ward

Hi I’m Jahron Ward soon to graduate artist, that’s very eager to learn. After seeing some of the work a fellow alumni of Westwood college Jessica Jimerson produced during her time here, I feel this would be a great place to start my career. Some info about me as an artist, well I’ve been illustrating since I was in middle school and drawing for even longer. Unlike many others students in high school I spent my time drawing commission work for many students and even some teachers. Since then I have been nonstop drawing to perfect my skill as an illustrator working on DVD covers, game character design and some animation. That is just the beginning of my story, that I’d like to continue here at Scattered comics studios.
