Vasco Sobral  is a self taught artist and new in the comic industry. He’s recently been published by Bluewater Productions, and is working on a series of graphic novels titled The Fallen and doing some regular commissioned work but eager to be a part of bigger projects. He like to color using all the styles, from the cut and brush to the painted style.

“DEIDRE’ DARK’S DELIGHTFUL DOLLS” is a new comic book title created and written by Nora Tarr and published by Comic Book Divas, this wickedly delightful comic will be arriving November 2012.

Creator and writer Nora Tarr explains the premise of “Deidre Dark’s Delightful Dolls”.

“People overall are not at all what they seem, but if you pay attention you can look through the facade and see the real person inside. Good or bad, Deidre is able to do that and what is truly the question is what side of the fence is Deidre on – is she just a woman with a family gift to see the real person and using her creations to influence them – or does she use her gift only for personal gain and an undying need for controlling other people’s lives? Once Deidre has seen the real you, what might happen, you may never know until it’s too late. Is Deidre a good-doer or is Deidre a nightmare developing?”

Nora is planning on selling the comic exclusively and directly online from the publisher, ComicbookDivas.com, and also in stores in the Massachusetts regional area where she resides.

Nora Tarr selected Scattered Studio’s Sarah Straub as both the Artist and Colorist, as she felt Sarah was  an artist who could create her Deidre character in a way that truly reflects the ambiguity of the story – no need for a lot of blood spatter here – sometimes what is most frightening is what your imagination leads you… sometimes its darker than anything you can visualize and I believe Sarah is the perfect artist for this project.  Her work is fabulous and most of all spot on with the interpretation of the story. I am looking forward to finishing this one and getting it out there in November 2012.

Heather Breckel is a digital colorist with a wide variety of books under her belt. She’s worked on Warzone, Demigods, Emerald Quest, Heathen City, and several others. She tries to approach every book differently and is constantly adding new styles to her arsenal. She graduated from the Columbus College of Art and Design and now works as a freelance colorist for a number of clients and studios.

“Forgotten Tales” is a new comic book from Horror Hostess Miss Misery and Comic Book Divas. Forgotten Tales is your new form of Tales From The Crypt! Bringing you creepy stories and a hot horror hostess to guide you through them. Hosted by Miss Misery, Forgotten tales brings you back to old school horror. So sit back and get ready for blood, screams and terror from beyond the grave……
The writer/creator, Reyna Young (Miss Misery) approached Scattered Studios and quickly selected their creative team of artist Ryan Showers, and colorist Julia Suvanto.

Originally from Canada she came to California and is currently working on becoming a permanent resident. She recently graduated from Sacramento City College with a Associate’s Degree in Graphic Communications and three certificates. Wham Bang Comic’s Jake Tinsely may be the studio’s youngest client, but his ideas and projects mark him as a veteran creator as he releases two of his newest titles Bullies Deserve Justice and Genius #1

“Bullies Deserve Justice” is a new comic book from Wham Bang Comics about Night Owl, a 12-year-old Earth Shaman, who must deal with the complexities of being being bullied in school — a national issue garnering much attention right now. In his secret identity of 12-year-old Zack Finley, Night Owl finds himself targeted and, probably for the first time in a long time, has no idea what to do. The writer/creator, Jake Tinsley and Sherman Powers, approached Scattered Studios and quickly selected their creative team of Jason Dube to provide the artwork, text and pre-press, while Sean Salazar will be adding his digital coloring.

“Genius” is a new comic book from Wham Bang Comics about written by renowned author and comic book writer Rachel Pollack with art by Wham Bang Comics’ Casey Columbus. The creator, Jake Tinsley, approached Scattered Studios to help in completing and quickly selected their creative team of Jason Dube to provide the text and pre-press, while Bordin Marsinkul will be adding his digital coloring.

Jason Dube and Benny Jordan have teamed up to release Jason Dube’s first mature reader horror comic book; the two combined their talents to bring reader’s  a combination of “Monster Squad”, with a smidge of “Playboy” and a lot of dark action to bring fans a twisted ride through the supernatural to bring them “Shadow Hunters”.

Jessika, Jenna, Renea, and Firewire; are four beautiful but unusual women, who are on a mission of redemption and revenge as they set out to destroy an ancient evil that has effected each of their lives in one manner or another. However these women just aren’t just your buxom beauties, these women demand respect and they don’t get they will either rip your throat out, drain your blood dry, turn you into a frog (Or worse), or eat your soul; you see beauty is skin deep and what lies beneath their skin is some of the most infamous and famous monsters the world has known.

“Jessika” is a werewolf but if you’re thinking “Oh ok, another werewolf” this incarnation of the legendary creature is more feral dog a lot more ferocious than any wolf and primal, then there is “Jenna” a vampiress who was of bloodline decent until she rebelled  against her clan and battles daily with fighting the urge to feed off human blood, Now we come to “Renea” the leader of the group who just happens to be a very powerful witch, sorceress, spell caster, whatever you want call her she really doesn’t care. As the leader she lays out the plans and monitors the teams activities and movements from any location she is in (including the shower) and last but not least there is “Firewire” a technical genius she can fix, build, or hack anything having to do with a technology. She not only has brains but also beauty, no one can resist her. She’s not bragging when she states this, it’s a fact for she holds within her a creature that has roamed the world through the millinia for she is a Succubus.

The four will be on a quest to defeat a very old and dark enemy and try to stop him before he kills again and tries to engulf the world into darkness; they have laid a trap that could end it all but will it work in time or will it fail and the world is covered in darkness, on top of their plans a new species will arise a new type of undead creature called a “Feeder” which is a zombie abomination that is even more ruthless and far more cunning; how long have they existed and why is there a special blood works force trained to combat these terrors, and how will the women be pulled into two different battles?

Jason Dube began creating his horror epic four year ago and started putting pen to paper, writing down his ideas as they came to him, and even kept a pen and paper by his bed at night to write down his dreams that he would later incorporate into the  “Shadow Hunters” comic book. Jason’s vision and interpretation of the classic monster’s will have reader’s and horror fans talking about the unique twist and appearance of these creatures.  Within this supernatural world Jason has created, reader’s will follow some of the wild storylines that will make think they have it all figured out one moment then be taken into a completely opposite direction.

Joining Jason on “Shadow Hunters” is Benny Jordan, who has brought the character’s to life with his unusual drawing style, Benny combines a eerie sexiness to the not only the characters but also to the comic, his approach is to make the reader see both sides of the characters, for example “Jessika” is a very beautiful woman that an turn anyone’s head, and the next she is a snarling fur covered “Werewolf” that looks as though it will rip out your throat. This combination of art skills brings a bit of light and darkness to not only to the primary characters but also throughout the comic.

“Shadow Hunters” #1 debuted at this year’s SAC-Horror convention with a enthusiastic crowd, fans lined up to meet writer and creator Jason Dube and artist Benny Jordan and get the first issue of the comic book; both Jason and Benny were on hand to sign copies of the comic and talk to fans about upcoming issues and what is in store in the series. “Show Hunterss” #1 will be on sale very soon through the website so stay tuned on how to get your copy of this spin-tingling twisted comic.

Known by the name Scar Crash, he is a comic book digital colorist who has is the latest in talented artists joining Scattered Studios. He has worked on  some small projects before joining the studio to be a apart of larger comic book projects.

Joey Hernandez Is A 10-year old Young Man With Spina Bifida; Who Is Realizing His Dream To Become A Super Hero In His Own Comic Book Entitled “Joey The Little Genius” Where He Becomes A Super Powered Robot. The Comic Is Created By Joey’s Father Joseph Hernandez.

When the studio learned about what this comic was about and what it was to be used for, the studio wanted to find some way to help out. “Since we’re artists and don’t have a lot of money to help out, I thought maybe we could help out in another way”, said Scattered Studio manager Jason Dube. “We did something like this on a smaller scale last year for Toys For Tots and created a small coloring book to give out for the kids who donated toys. But this really has the potential to really do something special.”

The writer/creator, Joseph Hernadez, quickly selected her creative team of Jason Dube to provide the artwork, lettering and Pre-press, while Stacy Raven will be doing the awesome digital coloring. All of which will be done free of charge!

Once the issue is completed, it will be available it will be made available to schools, hospitals and therapy centers for free.
